Moving to Portal System
Our college is currently working to implement a single sign on portal system for all students (tradtional, grad, online, etc.) and faculty and staff. Does anyone have any advice on what type of content Student Affairs should push to be included? Also, does anyone have any expereince in implementing student portofios as part of a portal system?
I don't know a whole lot about student affairs content, but my school uses an extension of Blackboard/WebCT to display portfolios.
We are moving toward a new portal too, but we are just replacing our current portal with a new one. Same content in both.
We have moved away from a packaged portal system (WebCT/Lumminus), to using our web content management system (FinalSite) and created one that works better for less $! Students see... http://www.ccsu.edu/page.cfm?p=2049
